 DESW just became the qualified supplier in China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) in 22th Dec, 2014 with the supplier Code of 43800540 issued by Sinopec Procurement Division.

Sinopec is an Energy and Chemical company specializes in oil and gas exploration and exploitation, oil refinery and sales, chemical products manufacturing and distribution, and it integrates either upstream industries or downstream industries. Sinopec Procurement Division (referred as SPD) is a management division functioning in materials management for Sinopec Group. SPD is responsible for centralized procurement of bulk, general and important materials for Sinopec Group. Sinopec International was established in July 1983 with registered capital amounted 1.42 billion RMB. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sinopec Group, and focuses on unified operation for Sinopec’s international trades.

In March 2006, Sinopec Procurement Division and Sinopec International merged together, and fulfill the Trinity functions as “Material Management Division, Centralized Procurement Division, and International Trading Company” for Sinopec. The newly merged SPD (SI) is responsible for procurement of bulk, general, and important materials, for operations of refinery by-products other than crude oil, refined oil and chemical products, for importing and exporting businesses and third country businesses for such products as catalyst, lubricating oil, materials, equipments, instrumentation, complete technology and etc. SPD (SI) is power by its market influence and bargaining power. It benefits from specialized procurement and sales teams. SPD (SI) has ten wholly owned domestic subsidiaries locating in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Zhanjiang and Dalian respectively. It also has two controlled domestic subsidiaries. SPD (SI) also possesses five oversea wholly owned subsidiaries locating in such developed areas as the United States, Japan, Germany, Russia and United Emirates. After a series of qualification examination on production and operation capabilities, supplying and service capacities by checking its production and testing capacities, storage and transportation capacities, research and development capacities, quality assurance system, and after-sales service system also went through the On-Site Factory Inspection, finally DESW get approved with high performance butterfly valves, ball valves and other products.
